Afrikaner will
never rule SA again
Mr. Roodt,
I read your latest
article titled Wie
sal ons bondgenote wees? and I note with some amusement
that you have mooted a possible coalition between Afrikaans-speaking
white South Africans (“Afrikaners”) and “non-elitist” and
“non-communist or liberal” white English-speaking South
Africans.
Whilst I admit to
reading very few of your articles on the Praag website I do note
that in some of the articles written by yourself and other
contributors to the website that you refer to the English language
as the language of the enemy, “die taal van die vyand”. In
American Renaissance May 2004 you refer to English speaking South
Africans as part of a “motley collection”. I also note that in
your paper delivered on 5 March 2003 at Jan Smuts House you refer to
white English-speaking South Africans thus: “the ordinary English
South African is simply an inchoate Afrikaner of Hertzog’s
creation, still speaking English but with a need for Afrikaans, even
though it would be hard to admit.”
Ignoring your
racism, purely on the basis of the prejudice that you harbour
towards white English-speaking South Africans, those white English-speaking
South Africans who “join“ with you and those who think like you,
would do so out of sheer ignorance. Their contribution towards “your
cause” will be just what you deserve, a sad pathetic one.
You would be unwise
to assume that many English-speaking white South Africans support
you and your views. Those who do are perhaps indeed, inchoate
Afrikaners.
It gives me much
pleasure to know that that the Afrikaner will never again rule South
Africa.
Karl Schutte
